Math Competition

Tonganoxie High sent its first crew of students to Washburn University
 this year to compete in their Math Day competition. We had a terrific showing.

We were second runner up in the 4A division by only a single point.
 We had an impressive showing.

They successfully completely a rigorous multi-faceted problem
that introduced math topics they've never before encountered.
 Not every team was able to do this.

Finally, Sierra Staatz had the third best performance
out of the non-senior (juniors and gifted sophomores) group;
 that is out of almost 100 students.

For a first year team they were very impressive.
 Please congratulate the team!
